Great Success for the Station Parade Christmas Evening

The special Christmas evening at the shops in Station Parade in December was a great success!  Despite the rainy weather, a wonderful Christmas atmosphere was created and everyone who attended said how much they had enjoyed themselves.

Mulled wine, mince pies, sausage rolls, chicken wings, hot dogs, Sri Lankan snacks, spicy fish cakes and delicious cup cakes were but a few of the mouthwatering delicacies generously offered by the retailers.  There were Christmas gifts and special promotions, and the evening was perfected by George Jones conducting the Chipstead singers in a medley of favourite carols.

We all hope that this wonderful event will be repeated next year. Our local shops deserve to be congratulated and supported!
