Chipstead and District Rifle Club

The Club was started in 1906 at South Lodge but in 1912 was established behind Mr Barnard’s shop at Vincent’s Green. It was requisitioned by the Army in both World Wars and in 1938 and 1939 Air Raid Precautions (ARP) classes were held there four nights a week and a gas chamber was fitted up.

The club now shoot at Bletchingley and also regularly at Bisley, the National Shooting Centre.  Members meet on Friday evenings
